This is Valentina, the adopted daughter of the Great Kalderasha of Farebury. In the game we learn Valentina is adopted and with Kalderasha for unknown circumstances of her parent's untimely deaths. The fact the Valentina dreamed about the hero coming is a coincidence? Probably not... In this edition of Dragons Quest VIII, she temporary joins the Hero and Yangus on one of their first quest to retrieve her father's crystal ball, and to save Farebury from a demon spawn that comes to life while they are away left by Dhoulmagus. Valentina is a meek and very kind individual who is blessed by the goddess as a devoted follower. Valentina is well known throughout Farebury for helping many townsfolk and is well liked. The townsfolk are very protective over Valentina, but not nearly as much as her father Kalderasha. As time goes on, Valentina will come to know the gifts which the goddess has bestowed upon her.
Equipped with a special wand made by her father, Valentina's main attack comes from her own and the power of the wand combined to send minor blasts of energy toward her enemies. Valentina's strengths mainly fall in the support category as a healer.
When Valentina joins your party, she will be at level 3, but don't get too cocky, she damages easily.
Starting Equipment: Rosewood Wand, Silk Robe, Slime Earrings, and gold bracer. She will also have 3 Healing herbs, 1 Magic Water, and 3 Cure Herbs in her inventory.

3 Points Basic magical staff techniques. Spell = ACCELERATLE: Raises the agility of all party members.
7 Points - Junior staffer - Spell =KASAP: Reduces the defence of a group of enemies.
13 Points Staff analyst Trait:+20 max MP when equipped with a staff.
18 Points Rosewood Multiple Blasts - MP Cost 0 (Will now become normal attack) - This skill will allow Valentina to attack three adjacent monsters with three rosewood wand blasts.
21 Points Magic staffer Spell =BOUNCE: Forms a protective barrier that reflects the enemy's and party's spells alike.
31 Points Chief of staff Spell =MAGIC BARRIER: Forms a protective barrier that reduces the effectiveness of foes' offensive spells.
44 Points Holy Acolyte = Max MP +50 when equipped with a staff.
52 Points Devout follower Ability =CADUCEUS: A blessing from the heavens that restore a single party member's HP.
60 Point Cleric Trait: Recovers MP every turn when equipped with a staff.
70 Points Priestess Trait:+100 max MP when equipped with a staff.
85 Points Spell =KAZING: Resurrects a fallen ally.
100 Points Spell = Angelic KaZing = MP cost 40 = This spell is cast on a character who upon dying will be revived.

15 Skill Points - Herbal Preparation - Your kindness has not gone unnoticed -This skill allows her to increase the potency of an Herb by 50% whenever she uses an herb.
25 Skill Points - Tactical Medic - MP Cost - 5 - This skill allows Valentina to distribute an herb's healing evenly to the entire party including herself. Herbal Preparation is used in conjunction with this skill.
32 Skill Points - Panacea - This skill will allow Valentina to wake or cure a party member of sleep or poison with her healing skills. 80% chance of success.
40 Skill Points - Enhance - This skill will allow Valentina to use mix a medicinal herb and magic water to enhance her's or another party member's Attack, Magic Attack, and Resilience from 3 - 8 points during a battle.
50 Skill Points - Valentina's compassion for the weak and needy has not gone unnoticed ABILITY = +10 Wisdom,+25 MP, and +10% for all healing spells.
60 Skill Points - Healing Touch - MP Cost 7 - This skill allows Valentina to imbue a 5% Regeneration of Healing of a party member health per round.
80 Skill Points - Guardian Angel - MP Cost 30 - This skill allows Valentina to summon a guardian angel which take damage for her of up to 250 HP for up to 3 turns.
100 Skill Points - Divine Prayer - MP Cost - 40 - Valentina prays for help and is answered, the goddess sends an angel riding a Peaguses down and blows a heraldic trumpet and causes holy flaming light to purify the lost souls damaging to all enemies and then the peaguses flies quickly in front of them as the angel slashes all monsters with a sword of light doing light based damage.

This was really well done! You put so much into this picture and description of Valentina! I really wish she was party member in the 3ds remake/remaster version or secret party member to earn after you beat a certain quest or something in the game. Such a big miss opportunity on square enix's part.
