 -This is Ishmahri, a moon elf and keeper of the Moonshadow Land which is a realm of dreams.  The Hero and his party are aided by Ishmahri thrice.  The first time to wake King Pavan from a nightmare of eternal sorrow brought on by the loss of Queen Sasha by replaying the memories of the past replaying keywords to stir King Pavan's soul to find the strength to live again thus allowing him to aid the Heroes in their journey.  The second time, to retrieve the Moonshadow Harp stolen by the mole people from King Pavan's royal treasury and raise the old ship in the desert.  The third time, when Dominico manages to summon him from his realm to the waking realm to rescue Jessica from the realm of Nightmares after being possessed by Rhapthorne.

(In this modded version, Ishmahri offers to help you and will start at level 20 when he joins you to help find the Moonshadow Harp.  The boss will be more difficult; however, to make things even more difficult.  After you defeat the master mole, something odd happens as he falls and the moles start to drag him off.  A dark spirt comes out and screams.

Dark Spirit: You will not have that harp! (The twisted voice responds possessing one of the underlings causing it to fall to the ground and convulse and twitch)

Hero:  What's this!?

Ishmahri:  It is worse than I feared...

Yangus: Wat do ya mean?!

Ishmahri:  My nemesis is trying to deter me from my task... (Ishmahri continued with his calm demeanor.)

Angelo:  Who is your arch nemesis?

Jessica:  It wouldn't be Dhoulmagus would it?

Ishmahri:  It is a servant of the Lord of Nightmares coming into the waking world...

Hero: Get ready everyone!  (Everybody draws their weapons)

Ishmahri:  Don't take servants of the lord of nightmares litely, I will negate it's power with my music...(Ishmahri continues in his dreamy voice)

(The Mole mutates and grows to more than six times his size, has four arms, razor teeth, razor claws, and red glowing eyes then attacks)

This boss will be hard and will require magic water, even with a 5th party member this boss will be a doozie

After getting it back Ishmahri is very glad to help.  King Pavan is gracious enough to share the moonshadow harp.  The heroes ask Ishmahri about the Lord of Nightmares, but he insists such an attack would have left even the Lord of Nightmares in a weakened state and assures them not to worry for awhile.

A third time in this modded version I created, Ishmahri will come to help again.  When Jessica is still recovering from being possessed by Rhapthorne, she is experiencing violent nightmares which the Hero, Angelo, Yangus, King Troad, Dominico, or Medea seem powerless do anything to help.  Dominico reads in his library for any kind of cure and finds an old unnamed ritual he thinks may do the trick, but instead he summons Ishmahri unintentionally.

Ishmahri is surprised to see them all again for a third time, but seems distressed and admits that he cannot wake Jessica from her nightmare and explains that the lord of Nightmares has been getting stronger for some reason which has prevented him from doing a lot of tasks.  Ishmahri goes on to explain that they will have to travel to the land of nightmares to wake Jessica.  Everyone agrees to go while Dominico agrees to guard everyone while they sleep.  Ishmahri assists each of the other heroes to fall into a deep sleep, then accompanies them to the land of nightmares.  He will be at level the level you left him at plus three levels this time when he joins you.

The land of nightmares is terrifying, when the Hero wakes in this realm, he finds he is alone and must quickly find the others.  The place is like a barren wasteland with thunder echoing in the background.  There are caves and free floating doors around which you will either find one of your companions (Angelo, Yangus, or Ishmahri) or you will find a random powerful shadow monster which can be really hard for the Hero to fight alone depending on the level.  These creatures could be huge tentacles, rabid cerebuses, or even shadow versions of yourself.  Once you find your companions, the Hero can focus on finding Jessica which soon becomes apparent her location.  

A tower appears, and at the very top, Jessica is lying in a glass case.  Before you can rescue her, Ishmahri warns of the Lord of Nightmare's presence.  It appears as a huge flaming black nitemare stallion and attacks the party.  This boss fight is hard and will require everything you got.  After you defeat the boss, the glass case will break and Jessica will disappear.  Ishmahri reassures them that she is safe now as the land of Nightmares begins to slowly fade.  Jessica is reunited temporarily with her brother's spirit as in the original version.

Afterwards, Ishmahari warns of a greater evil that may be behind everything, but is not surprised when he hears Lord Rhapthorne's name.  Ishmahri tells everyone to keep in touch with him through their dreams and to keep fighting.

SPIRITUALITY:

Elven Ancestors - (Cost 15 MP)  Three ancestoral spirits with bows shower the enemies with a volley of spiritual arrows (20 Skill Points)

Summon Earth Spirit - (Cost 20 MP) Summons an earth spirit (gnome) to cause a minor earthquake damaging all enemies while fortifying everyone's defense by 20 points.  (40 Skill Points)

Summon Fire Spirit - (Cost 25 MP) Summons a fire spirit (salamander) to breathe a plume of flame damaging all enemies while raising everyone's tension by one level.  (60 Skill points)

Summon Water Spirit - (Cost 30 MP)  Summons a water spirit (Undine) that summons a huge wave of water damaging all enemies while healing everyone of half of their HP. (80 Skill points)

Summon Wind Spirit - (Cost 40 MP) Summons a bunch of wind spirits (sylphs) that blow the enemy back with powerful winds damaging all with a chance to stun while increasing all allies agility by 20.  (100 Skill Points)

Skills:  (Normal Attacks are sonic blast of musical notes the notes are green)

Lullaby - Cost 8 MP) Sleep on all enemies       N/A posses this skill

Song of Healing - Cost 10 MP - Heals all allies 15- 30 HP   (10 Skill Points)

Rondo of Confusion - Cost 15 MP - Confuses all enemies   (25 Skill Points)

(Ishmahri is becoming more skilled at playing his instrument with practice and now attack will raise by 5 - Notes are now blue) {35 Skill points}

Flowing Flutes - Cost 15 MP - This skill will summon a few flutes which play an enchanting melody and increases Magic defense by a little to all allies - { 40 Skill Points)

Mental Meditation - This skill summons string instruments which play a very relaxing melody - Cost 20 MP - over time, this skill will restore a small amount of MP per round to all allies. {50 Skill Points}

(Ishmahri has become really skilled with his musical abilities and his attacks will go up by 10.  Musical Notes are now Violet) 55 skill points.

Ballad of Courage - Cost 15 MP Ishmahri plays an awe inspiring piece that fills the heroes hearts with adrenaline  and increases Attack  of all allies -  {60 Skill Points}

Tale of the Great Castle - 15 MP - Ishmahri strums his harp and begins the tale of a fortified ancient castle from days gone by. Increase Defense of all allies - {70 Skill Points}

Medley - Cost 15 MP Ishmahri plays an up tempo melody and increases speed of all allies  -  {78 skill points}

Brasswind Blast - Cost 20 MP - attacks one enemy and does a large amount of sonic damage by summoning many brasswind instruments that make a loud sonic blast from all directions.   {85 Skill Points

Great Discord - 30 MP - A greatly amplified discordant blast of sound by percussive instruments deal great sonic damage to all  {100 Skill Points}
